GRAYBOX: The New Home of Portland's Ecommerce Meetup

By GRAYBOX Alumni

GRAYBOX is pleased to announce it's newest partnership with the Ecommerce Portland Meetup group! In an effort to become a more active member of the Portland digital community, GRAYBOX has opened its doors and is hosting free events in its conference rooms, deck and training area. We heard that Ecommerce Portland was looking for a space to host their monthly events and jumped at the chance to become their permanent home.

GRAYBOX and Ecommerce Portland will be kicking off their new relationship on Thursday, February 9th at 6:00pm. Ken Tomita, the Co-Founder and CEO of Grovemade, will be speaking about knowing your customers and the right and wrong assumptions we make

In July of 2016, GRAYBOX moved into our new office on the seventh floor of the Historic Olympic Mills Building at 107 SE Washington St. There were a few reasons behind the move, but the biggest factors were GRAYBOX's rapid growth and strong desire to become more involved in the digital community in Portland. Not only is the view incredible, but now we have an awesome space where we can host free events in Portland.

Ecommerce Portland has a home

We are excited to be working with the Ecommerce Portland Meetup group and offering them a permanent home! Ecommerce Portland is the home of local ecommerce companies and is focused on helping companies grow and flourish on the web by sharing innovations, ideas and support. Meetings cover topics from usability and design to SEO and analytics to social media and speakers have included experts on ecommerce from the likes of Nike, Project Bionic, Wildfang and more.

Building the Digital Community

Portland, as the saying goes, is really just a small town and GRAYBOX wants to get to know the neighbors by reaching out and inviting folks to use our space for free. There aren't a lot of free event spaces in Portland, especially not with the view we have, and in an effort to help the burgeoning digital community in Portland, we decided to open our office.

Located on the seventh floor of the Olympic Mills building, we enjoy beautiful - even in the rain - 360 views of downtown, the waterfront, all of the bridges and the east side all the way to Mt. Hood. Our office features several areas that are all completely free to rent including our training center, our big conference room that features a massive slab of Redwood with a live edge for a table, our Watchtower room with a conference table, a white board and a projector, and our north patio complete with a BBQ and long picnic tables and an awesome view.
