Growth is Good But Moving Sucks

It’s been a great few years at GRAYBOX! We’ve had the privilege to work with some amazing clients and produce work that I’m very proud of. As principal, it’s also my pleasure to grow our team with some outstanding local talent as we seek to build the absolute best communications firm here in Portland. After just 18 months at our renovated Fire Station location on 11th and SE Stark St, we’ve outgrown it and moved offices this week. We love SE and moved a whole four blocks to the corner of 11th and Sandy/Ankeny — at what I like to call the Chaos Corner.

We've put a few before photographs up on Twitter and expect some more in the coming weeks as we get our new furniture installed and ready.

We’re excited about the new space — it’s very GRAYBOX — open, rugged, industrial and creative without being pretentious or exclusionary. Plus we’re now four blocks closer to Fire on the MountainDoug FirBurnside Brewing and Voodoo — so what’s not to love? Moving isn’t too fun of course, but it’ll be worth it in the end.

Anyway, we’re super excited about the move and keep an eye out for an open house event later in the summer!
